I am considering a silent retreat this fall; a few days of not speaking to any other human beings with no electronic devices, preferably somewhere warm. Yeah, I know autumn in Vermont is great, but I'm looking for different beauty. And it doesn't exist in a landscape. However, sun and warmth are crucial for me. Utter silence = vast space. I am ready to create this. I don't want to think. I want to breathe without having to take care of anyone or be "productive." Looking for suggestions - outside U.S. is fine.

You don't need to go from far places, just look for a seaside place and close to nature so that you can think and relax while enjoying the beauty of our beautiful surrounding.

Sedona.
It may be cliché, but it works for me. A space tailor-made for contemplation.
